Dominique Swift Solo Exhibition

Dominique Swift is a multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker, and storyteller from Philadelphia. Her work blends painting, poetry, digital storytelling, and multimedia art to explore themes of identity, heritage, collective memory, black femininity, and spirituality through visual language. . She holds a BA in Media and Professional Communications with a minor in Studio Arts from the University of Pittsburgh. Her work is grounded in the desire to spark dialogue, honor cultural memory, and explore how narratives evolve across generations.

The Community Garden of Allegheny Commons invites everyone to the fifth annual Friends to Garden celebration. This fundraiser directly helps the garden flourish and give back to the community. Not only does the event benefit the garden but it is a great time, with great food, and an excellent way to engage with the neighborhood! Tickets for the event include a cocktail hour, buffet dinner, dessert, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, silent auction, and 50/50 raffle. Over several years, Artists Image Resource and Point Park University have built an impressive partnership that includes internships, faculty projects, and support for young artists as they launch their professional practices in what can be a complicated arts landscape.
