Resident Artist Project

In 1996, supported by a grant from The Heinz Endowments, Artists Image Resource initiated an AIR Resident project with Patricia Bellan Gillen. During the course of the project several directions were explored including screenprinting and stone lithography. After a number of initial experiments with AIR’s crew, we ended up screenprinting image components on large unique paintings, creating large format screenprints with hand drawing and Chine collé components, an edition of smaller screenprints and a suite of small stone lithographs.
