4 hour Screenprinting Workshops include 3 hours of instruction and 1 hour of open studio time. Materials included are adequate to create small proofs for each participant. Instruction includes image prep, screen processing, registration, ink mixing and printing. Extra Images / screens can be added for an extra fee.

AIR schedules workshops on MWF between the hours of 12:00 noon and 8:00 pm. Follow this link to choose a preferred date/time for your session and send image files if relevant. We will be in touch to finalize dates and times and image requirements.

About Community Printing Projects

Generally, these sessions are scheduled in 4-hour blocks, include up to 2 images, include 2 AIR crew members to print and assist, 50 sheets of paper and enough ink to print 50 single color screenprints (max image area approx. 11 x 14”)

Generally, AIR does not provide any substrates other than paper (tee shirts, totes, bandanas, etc.) however we can help you order these materials if you need assistance.

Pricing for these short printing projects is based primarily on materials used and labor time scheduled so there is room to work around budgets. A 4-hour session complete with hands-on printing can often be done for $500.
