RICARDO VINCENTE JOSE RUIZ 2017

 

Having access to Artists Image Resource as a resident artist provided me the opportunity to pursue a body of work that would not have been feasible otherwise, financially or pragmatically. Up until that point in my career I had never been shown such generosity of time and expertise from Bob and the incredible AIR staff. The sense of community and activity in the constantly shifting entity that is AIR invigorated me to complete such a massive project and test my own personal limits. Since then I have been able to use my experience at AIR to parlay two exhibitions, a publication, and several artist talks. I do not say it lightly that my experience at AIR helped my career as an emerging artist and is an invaluable resource that needs to be continued. – Ricardo Ruiz
