AIR OPEN PORTFOLIO
SAT. MARCH 25 
PUBLIC HOURS 5:00 TO 8:00 PM

We're having an event at Artists Image Resource on March 25 from 5 - 8 p.m. and a major component of it is an open portfolio where college students from several Universities in the region as well as high school students from the AIR / Warhol Museum Youth Open Studio program and Pittsburgh's High School for the Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) will be showing their prints.

 

Universities include West Virginia University, Penn West (Edinboro) University. Kent State University, The University of Akron and the Community College of Allegheny County. Many of these students will be graduating this year and looking for opportunities. Each of these universities has solid Art programs and some have Graduate programs. Come see the work and talk to representatives and professionals in the field.

 

This is a great opportunity for young artists to share their work and we think it is an equally great opportunity for Pittsburgh Arts Professionals and Organizations to share who they are with young artists. We're planning on having a table for organizations to share any printed matter they may want to.

 

Arts Organizations and professionals who will be looking at work and talking about professional opportunities include The Pittsburgh Print Group, The Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, Commonwealth Press, Casey Droege Cultural productions, Contemporary Craft, and others (The Warhol Museum, Pull Proof Press, Bunker Projects, Just Seeds, Boom Concepts -- ....)
